TRAINEESHIP TUTOR

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is the official charity of Cardiff City Football Club. Our ultimate goal is to work with children, young people and families in South Wales to address inequalities and help them to achieve their full potential.

This new and exciting role will involve working within the Foundation’s Inclusion Team to tutor as part our ‘Strikers’ Traineeship programme that is funded by and works in partnership with ACT Training through their work based learning programme funded by Welsh Government.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of the Foundation’s traineeship offer (Engagement & BTEC Level One), ensuring that learners are challenged during their time with the Foundation and complete their programme of study in a timely manner.

The Foundation is looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual who can engage and inspire individuals, preparing them for positive progressions onto: further education; apprenticeships or the world of work, whilst ensuring that all aspects of the programme are of the highest standard.

Required education:

Bachelor’s

Required experience:

coaching or teaching in an alternative curriculum setting: 1 year
delivering essential skills: 1 year
knowledge of working within work based learning: 2 years
working with training providers, schools & local businesses: 2 years

Required licence or certification:

Full UK Driving Licence
